The members of the press, who get the power of public opinion in the direction of correct, principled, and objective duty apprehension, and trying to fulfill citizens' right to receive information on the difficult conditions, are one of the building blocks of democracy and the formation of a healthy society.

On the other hand, undoubtedly, the professional ethics of the journalists who are impartial, independent, principled and follow the press ethical rules, and the sensitivity that they show in this respect are significant.

Journalists, who perform an important role in the development of freedom of opinion and idea while performing the important duties such as informing and lightening the society, are making great efforts to fulfill their profession with great sacrifices.

In this respect, we as the Aktas Holding Family, celebrate the 10^th of January Working Journalists’ Day, whether actively acting of all the journalists; and we wish them fruitful years filled with the success.
