Aktaş Holding, leader in Turkey and among the first three companies in the world in the air suspension bellows industry, is continuing to add new ones to its activities reflecting the social responsibility example.

Aktaş Holding gave full support to platform for equality at work, which makes activities which will support the gender equality in the economic life in Turkey, established under the roof of world economic forum (DEF) and founded in our country under the auspices of the Ministry of family and social policies.

Aktaş holding, answering the questions of “survey for determining the status of women in the workplace and good application examples”, prepared by the “platform for equality at work”, founded in our country under the auspices of the Ministry of family and social policies, which started to act for minimizing the gender gap in the economic area in Turkey, gave support to the studies for establishing a reporting system which can be monitored with updating across the country.

The equality at work manifesto contains the statements below:

* We respect the human rights; we do deal with our employees with the equality basic principle.

* We provide health, safety and wellbeing without discriminating male and female employees.

* We especially support the participation of women in the work force.

* We define the criterion of equality of opportunity for women-men in our human resources policies.

* We act with the policy of equal pay for equal work, monitor it.

* We establish the mechanism necessary for using the career opportunities at equal level.

* We establish and monitor training policies and specially care for the participation of women.

* We establish work environments and applications protecting the work-family life balance.

* We announce the developments related with equal opportunity plans and gains with internal and external communication.

* We ensure that the manifesto is popularized in all our area of influence (business partners, suppliers).

* We assign a leadership team in our institution for monitoring the issues included in the manifesto.
