Aktas Holding, which is the leader in Turkey and is one of the top three firms in the world in the sector of air suspension bellows, continues to add value to the sector by getting reward in the organizations arranged by different platforms.
Techno Aktas, the firm of Aktas Holding in Bulgaria making production for the European countries, was entitled to win the grand prize in the category of medium-sized enterprises: 5* - 250 employees in the “Occupational Health and Safety 2014” rewards arranged in Bulgaria.
While total 40 firms from the Balkan states participated in the organization arranged in the city of Sofia of Bulgaria, Techno Aktas was deemed worthy of the grand prize by getting successful results in all criteria.
The grand prize was taken by the Board Member and Chief Executive Officer Sami Erol on behalf of Aktas Holding in the competition participated by the firms from many countries such as Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, Serbia.
Sami Erol who expressed that the understanding of occupational safety applies not only in the production centers in Bulgaria but also in all locations throughout the world said: “We have been conducting our activities with the understanding of respect to human and priority to safety since 1938 when the foundations of Aktas Holding were laid. The award which we are deemed worthy here today is a result of our significance to our human resource for many years. I believe that this study conducted in the Balkan states is very valuable.”

Erol who stated that Techno Aktas, as a part of Aktas Holding, is a serious investment for the EU market said: “This success of our Bulgarian factory is also a serious indicator of our investment in our human resource when we achieve our future goals. We, as Aktas Holding, aim at being the global leader in our sector in 2023. Contribution of our colleagues in Bulgaria is important for this goal. Our colleagues in all of our locations also act similarly. I believe that we shall be the top firm of the world as a result of the importance given to quality and human.”
In the award ceremony realized after the speeches, the prize was given to Sami Erol on behalf of Aktas Holding by Rumyana Mihaylova, Bulgarian Chief Occupational Inspection Department Management Agency Manager.
