With the largest market share in the sector in Turkey with Lineflex brand, The company has taken its place in Uzbekistan's biggest building and construction fair, UzBuild, with its state-of-the-art technology offering new generation waterproofing solutions.
AK-İZO, which participated in the 21st UzBuild International Building and Construction Fair held in Tashkent, capital city of Uzbekistan on February 25-28, with its advanced technology and environmentally friendly Lineflex brand, hosted its visitors at Hall 4, stand G142.
Goal of increasing business potential
Making evaluations about the company and the fair, Aktaş Holding's CEO İskender Ulusay said: "The main activity of AK-İZO Insulation Systems is the production and sale of EPDM rubber-based membranes for waterproofing, and we also work on complementary products and innovative sound and chemical barriers for waterproofing. In 2020, we aim to increase our business potential in different geographies. We aimed to introduce both our existing and new products to the industry with the participation of international fairs."
Easy and time-saving application
Giving information about the newly developed products of AK-İZO, Ulusay added: "With the self-adhesive EPDM membrane we have developed as Lineflex brand, application will be much easier and time-saving. In addition, due to the application technique, water insulation problems that occur over time will be eliminated. Extra bonding costs will be avoided with this new product, which can provide long-lasting insulation on roof, facade, eaves trough, gutter, hidden gutter, curtain and press lath both horizontally and vertically. In summary, we aim to redefine expectations with the self-adhesive EPDM membrane. Moreover, our innovative product development plans include liquid products for waterproofing, and our double-component solution proposal stands out. Especially in basement tanking and curtain waterproofing, bitumen cement modified, fully flexible, 2k double component waterproofing is the most preferred product after membranes."
First colored EPDM in the industry
Stating that with its ease of application and low probability of error, they aim at a much more effective, practical and high quality product development with an innovative approach in relation to this product, which is preferred especially in residential and reinforced concrete structures in the construction industry, İskender Ulusay pointed out. "This product is long-lasting and a structure and practitioner friendly product that can be applied at the application point with a spray method in a very short time and can provide both water and sound insulation and can be easily applied even in application areas that are very difficult to enter. We anticipate that this product will also save time and labor costs. In addition to all of these, we produce colored EPDM membranes, which is a first in the sector. We can color our EPDM membranes according to the desired ral code and in this way, water-proof, continuous UV and ozone resistant, walkable, long-lasting, structurally stable and waterproof roofs can be obtained in colored roof applications where texture and color are desired to be protected. In this sense, we aimed to represent our country in the best way at the fair."
