We celebrate with great pride, enthusiasm and excitement the 96th anniversary of the proclamation of our Republic, which the Great Leader Atatürk described as 'the most appropriate administration for the nature and character of the Turkish nation'.

October 29 Republic Day is the epic of the rebirth from the ashes of our glorious nation that have lived for centuries without compromising their freedom and dignity.

Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk entrusted our Republic to the youth and told them "Our dear youth! It was us who established the Republic but it will be you who will raise and make it live forever."
