Aktaş Holding Board Member and Chief Executive Officer Sami Erol took place as a speaker in Turkey-Bulgaria Business Forum organized by Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) with the participation of almost 500 business people from the Turkish and Bulgarian business world.
In this meeting, described as "the biggest business meeting for the last 10 years" between the two countries, Erol emphasized that business world representatives have important responsibilities for the further increase in trade volume between Turkey and Bulgaria.
In his speech, Sami Erol also talked about Aktaş Holding's investments in Bulgaria, emphasizing that they have added significant value to the region's economy and are determined to continue to do so in the future.
The trade volume between Turkey and Bulgaria is growing rapidly
The Bulgarian Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov stated that the amount of investments Turkey made in Bulgaria exceeded up to 1 billion euros from 1996 to 2017 and added that the Bulgarian economy continued its growth.
Karanikolov said that trade volume between Turkey and Bulgaria occurred around 4 billion euros in 2017.
