Aktaş Holding continues to take serious steps that can add value to our country and to the sector within the frame of R&D centered production model and it has received good news in this field from the Ministry.
Applying to the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology for establishing an R&D Center in order to make its R&D related activities efficient and sustainable, Aktaş Holding received a positive feedback for its application and it is entitled to have R&D Center Certificate approved by the Ministry.
By this means, Aktaş Holding has become the 720th company in our country to receive R&D Center Certificate approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.
We are experiencing a big pride
Making statements on this subject, Aktaş Holding Board Member and Chief Executive Officer Sami Erol points out that they are experiencing the pride of this R&D Center Certificate and from now on their responsibilities as a company increase to a great extent.
Expressing that as Aktaş Holding they sustain their activities successfully in every corner of the world from Germany to China, from USA to Brazil, Sami Erol said: "R&D activities are a must in order to survive in the competitive world order. We are implementing advanced technologies on all operation processes and produce the solutions that our sector needs. At this point, we have adopted a production model basing on product development. Hence, by using optimum materials for the products it develops with advanced technology opportunities, the products come to the fore front since they are environmental friendly, light, flexible and resistant."
We are working to make a difference
Pointing out that Aktaş Holding saves 3-4% of its annual endorsement for R&D activities, Erol added: "Our goal is to increase this figure up to 5% in the short run. We believe that it is possible to take place in global markets by investing in technology and R&D studies. In this scope, we are deemed worthy of the prize for “The Firm with the Most Patent/Beneficial Model application in Turkey" for the last three years organized by TAYSAD in the field of Patent- Beneficial Model- Industrial design. Moreover, Aktaş Holding still has 90 patent applications on the scale of global average, 15 beneficial models, 3 international patents and 1 national patent applications in total. Additionally, we make at least 10 patent applications annually.
Branding works will continue
Underlining that they are always acting out with the approach targeting the perfect, Erol reported that they will keep on branding on a global scale with investments in technology and innovative R&D studies.
Referring to the fact that they focus on sustainable successes by developing R&D and innovation centered strategies, Erol said: "As Aktaş Holding, we are targeting to be the pioneer of innovations. We follow the latest technologies closely for our R&D studies and we are putting effort to develop products with high quality standards in our modern production facilities. We are trying to turn know-how, corporate production processes and supply chain into a culture of excellence. Within this frame, we have made a field analysis study on Industry 4.0.
