Aktaş Holding, focusing on global branding vision and digital transformation, continues to realize important steps in this direction. Under the event organized in the recent days, the Company received Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and UNDP officials at its Bursa plant.
Uğur Özdemir, official from Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and Zeynep Kurnaz, UNDP Project academic consultant were among the visiting delegation.
During the meetings, Aktaş Holding was represented by Board member R. Serkan Aktaş, Finance and Administrative Director Mustafa Şenongan and Technical Group Manager Hakan Korkmaz.
Fruitful event
Visits under "Developing a Model to Improve Technology Use in Organized Industrial Zones Project" implemented by Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and UNDP and aimed to contribute to competitiveness of Turkey through developing models that will enable Organized Industrial Zones (OIZs) to assume an active role in entrepreneurship, innovation and technology development, were extremely fruitful.
Transitional activities are necessary to keep up with the times
From the other side, Aktaş Holding Board member and CEO Sami Erol expressed his satisfaction with the visit. He also emphasized importance of transition based sustainable activities of Aktaş Holding and pointed out the need for integration of technology use into the existing structures and acting with innovative vision in order to keep up with the new world order, dominated by knowledge and technology.
Contribution to OIZ development
Erol recalled Aktaş Holding commitment to digital branding in 2017 through "Digital Transition", "Corporative Transition" and "Strategic Transition" and added that he believes that the project implemented by the Ministry and UNDP shall contribute greatly to OIZ development in our country.
