Aktas Education Foundation, which was founded in order to realize the corporate social responsibility projects that are harmonious with the nature, and which adds value to society within the framework of Aktas Holding, took another step forward in the scope of social responsibility activities.
This year's photograph competition, which was held in cooperation with Aktas Education Foundation, Orhaneli Municipality and Orhaneli City Council, aims to increase the interests of children and young people living in Orhaneli District and surrounding villages for the photography art and to contribute to their personal development, this year again drawn the attention of the students.
Jury had Difficulty in Choosing the Best Frames
The winners of the Photography Contest, which was held this year with the participation of students in the 14-18 age group and with the theme of 'Lost Occupations', became clear and the Selection Board had difficulty in respect of selecting the most beautiful photographs among hundreds of photographs, and 20 photographs obtained the right of being exhibited in this contest.
The award ceremony of the contest was held in Orhaneli in Ibrahim Husniye Caglayan Conference Hall, and the following attended the organization; Orhaneli Mayor Irfan Tatlioglu, the Director of National Education for the District Mehmet Tayir, and Chairman of the Aktas Education Foundation Ilknur Aktas, as well as students and their families participating in the contest, and the members of Aktas Holding Photography Club.
Ilayda Miranda Gunes, who obtained the second rank in the contest, received her prize from the hand of Mayor Irfan Tatlioglu, and the winner of the contest Ismail Sevim received his prize from the chairman of the Aktas Education Foundation, Ilknur Aktas.

Orhaneli Mayor Irfan Tatlioglu who expressed his gratitude to Aktas Education Foundation for stating that they had a very valuable project for the development of children in Orhaneli with the photo contest, also said that "We thank the Aktas Education Foundation very much. At the point of increasing the personal development and self-esteem of our children, the Aktas Education Foundation is doing very valuable work in the district; they touch to our children. We are really in need of this. As people who live in the south of Uludag, the ties with Bursa is somewhat broken. We have a huge heart, we are very successful, we have very smart children. However, we are a bit weak about integrating with Bursa. Such projects have very important gains at the point of uncovering our ores and instilling confidence in our students".
Tatlioglu, who congratulated all the children who attained the degree in the competition, said that they will continue to pass on the new projects with the Aktas Education Foundation.
We Target Sustainable Social Responsibility Studies
Aktas Educational Foundation Chairman Ilknur Aktas thanked the students who participated in the contest, and also celebrated all the students captured the best frames, and informed that they would continue to perform such activities in a determined manner in order to enable them to discover their talents and contribute to their personal development.
Referring to the fact that such projects are very important in terms of personal and social achievements of children in rural areas, Ilknur Aktas said that the foundation would continue to develop such valuable projects, and she shared the news with children that the competition will be organized next year under the theme of "Contradictions".
On the other hand, at the end of the program, collective photo shoots were held with the participation of award-winning students and protocol members, and afterwards, all participants examined the photograph exhibition closely.
