Aktaş Holding Board Chairman Şahap Aktaş attended RUMELİSİAD 4th International Balkan Economy Summit, which was sponsored by Aktaş Holding, as a speaker and emphasized the investment opportunities in the Balkan countries and the importance of increased cooperation between Turkey and Balkan countries during his speech.
Şahap Aktaş, who was the chairman of RUMELİSİAD Board Chairman in the last term, indicated during his speech that RUMELİSİAD has so far acted as a bridge between Turkey and Balkan countries and carried out significant activities in the region for the purpose of further improving intercultural, economic, business and social relationships.
Şahap Aktaş indicated that Aktaş Holding is making preparations to take investment opportunities that might arise in the Balkan countries in the future in addition to the existing activities of Techno Aktaş in Bulgaria and the younger workforce potential of Balkan countries which are similar to Turkey in many aspects should be absolutely evaluated.
Mr. Aktaş reminded during RUMELİSİAD International Balkan Economy Summit that Aktaş Holding, which is operating in many different regions around the world, made investment under the name of Techno Aktaş in Plovdiv City in Bulgaria 10 years ago and makes 45 percent of its export to the EU countries and emphasized the importance of Techno Aktaş as a gateway opening to Europe.

Şahap Aktaş indicated that as Techno Aktaş, they are proud of the successful operations of the company in Bulgaria, established very important organization there as a company and celebrated the 8th anniversary recently. He added that the biggest capital of Techno Aktaş is human. He said: ‘We should love people as a human being’. “We are performing all our activities by accepting humans as a focal point. As Techno Aktaş, we are almost like the United Nations with our team that consists of 110 people. Each citizen of the countries continues to convey Techno Aktaş to the future with confident steps and perfect harmony and team spirit. Harmony is one of the most important indicators of our success. We are also planning to make investments in other Balkan countries. The wide network and friendship that we established through RUMELİSİAD provide us with self-confidence’’.
