Aktaş Education Foundation, which is known for its social responsibility projects particularly in the field of education, organized another significant event under ‘‘Make Lots of Differences’ project that was carried out in cooperation with BUÇAD.

Aktaş Education Foundation donated lots of books to disadvantaged primary school students that continue their education based on mobile education system in the mountainous districts of Bursa in cooperation with the Association of Supporting Diversity in Knowledge and Practices (BUÇAD), which is known as the first association that supports diversity and differences in our country, in order to open up new horizons in the minds of these children and support their development.

Various books which were classified according to certain age groups were delivered to the relevant primary schools in Karıncalı and Göynükbelen in Orhaneli District by the cooperation of Aktaş Education Foundation and BUÇAD and it was worth seeing the happiness and beacon of hope in the eyes of children during the distribution of books.

“Let’s Provide Equal Opportunities Together for our Children”

Aktaş Education Foundation’s Board Chairwoman İlknur Aktaş indicated that although the children in the village schools that are affiliated to Orhaneli District have very limited education opportunities, they achieve big successes and proceed to the future with confident steps. She also said to be very excited about this project that is implemented to create social awareness.

Ms. Aktaş said: I believe that these books that will be read by the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th graders at Karıncalı and Göynükbelen primary schools will open up new horizons in the minds of these children. She underlined that all segments of the society should demonstrate necessary sensitivity towards this type of campaigns and provide equal opportunities to these children that walk to the future with bright eyes and big expectations.
