Aktas Education Foundation, which develops social responsibility projects within the organization of Aktas Holding for educational and social development, continues the education mobilization without interruption.

Aktas Education Foundation undersigned a very beneficial activity together with Orhaneli Education Culture and Benevolent Association. Orhaneli Education Culture and Benevolent Association, which has been founded last year to provide scholarship to the dependent undergraduates living in the region, started the project titled “The Young People Learn Their Culture in Orhaneli” with the support of the Ministry of Interior Department of Associations and partnership of Orhaneli Municipality, Regional Directorate of National Education and Aktas Education Foundation.

The publicity meeting of the project supported by Aktas Education Foundation was participated by Orhaneli Mayor Irfan Tatlioglu, Orhaneli District Governor Abdulhalim Can, Orhaneli District Gendarme Commander Serdar Ravis, District Chief Police Officer Mehmet Balci, Orhaneli Deputy Mayor Salim Akturk, District National Education Manager Mehmet Tayir, Provincial Associations Manager Osman Dikmen, Head of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Culture and Tourism Department Bursa Researches Center Officer Cengiz Butun and Aktas Education Foundation Board Chairman Ilknur Aktas.

‘All Institutions of the Municipality shall be mobilized’

At the meeting participated by more than 200 undergraduates, the District Governor Abdulhalim Can made a speech. Can acknowledged everybody contributed in the initiated project and recommended undergraduates to read books in their leisure time. Bursa Provincial Associations Manager Osman Dikmen stated in his speech that they shall provide all kinds of support required for achievement of the project. Orhaneli Mayor Irfan Tatlioglu, who took the floor at the meeting, emphasized significance of the social municipal work and underlined to mobilize all institutions of the municipality to provide material and spiritual supports to the project.

Tatlioglu expressed that he has supported the activities for education, in particular, since the day of his election as the Mayor in 2004 and continued: "Orhaneli is my passion. We are ready to run and support to every place of Turkey, especially if the expression of local culture is uttered. I promise to provide all kinds of support for this project before our valuable students here."

The Project Coordinator Cavit Zirtlan, who expressed that the project shall be completed in March 2016, acknowledged all authorities and institutions supported the project.

‘This Project shall provide complete benefit’

Aktas Education Foundation Board Chairman Ilknur Aktas stated that education is very important for Aktas Holding and continued: “It is not sufficient for Aktas Holding to be successful in our sector. It is also important for us to produce educational activities to be beneficial for the society and for development of the society and contact of success with our country. It is an indispensable habit of us to crown our success with our educational and social responsibility projects. I believe that this project shall provide a complete benefit to our students. Our educational projects shall continue and our sensitivity shall never end in this respect. On the contrary, it shall increase each passing day. I acknowledge everybody contributed in this project. I kiss our students from their eyes and wish continued success to them.”
