Within the noble Turkish national unity and consciousness of the nation, the date; August 30, 1922 is one of the most special time in our history which witnessed a unique heroic epic and opened the path to the establishment of the Republic of Turkey.

The determination of the Turkish people in the way of independence at the time as a whole had set an example for the whole world and the spirit of national struggle initiated with tough opportunities were crowned with great victory under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

We will continue to remember this victory achieved by our saintly nation, male-female, young-old 96 years ago, with pride in the future as it is today.

We remember all the heroic martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our country with mercy and respect, especially Veteran Mustafa Kemal and his fellow fighters, and congratulate August 30th Victory Day with the most sincere wishes.
