Aktaş Holding, Continues to Gain From 'On-The-Job Training Program'

Aktaş Holding continues its activities as part of the 'On-the-job Training Program' which was started by Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) aiming to recruit quality workers to the country's growing  labor force by giving an opportunity to unemployed individuals and students to experience the workplace in person, and develop themselves both professionally and personally.

 

The project is an important step in efforts to increase employment as it provides an workplace environment to teach unemployed individuals and university students about the job. It has received overwhelmingly positive and productive feedback from the participants as well as employers.

 

The individuals who are working at Aktaş Holding as part of the program receive their salaries from İŞKUR for 3 months, and the participants who finish their training successfully receive an achievement certificate from İŞKUR at the end of the program.

 

"The Program Produces Effective Results"

 

The goal is for the trainees who demonstrate a competent on-the-job performance to become part of the permanent personnel at Aktaş Holding. Aktaş Holding Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member Sami Erol commented that the program has presented very successful results so far.

 

Erol underlined the growing demand for intermediate employees and qualified workers in the industry, and the project, realized to relieve the employee demand in Bursa and our country, has resulted in effective and productive feedback and returns for Aktaş Holding also. Thereupon, Erol announced that they will be accepting new trainees to the company as part of the program in the future as well.
