Aktas Education Foundation, which produces social responsibility projects within the organization of Aktas Holding for the purpose of educational and social development, continues its top sensitivity towards protection and development of the natural environment in addition to its successful activities in the scope of the social responsibility works.

Aktas Education Foundation provided full support to the reforestation activities initiated in the district following the unfortunate forest fire which recently occurred on the forest land between Gundogdu and Goynuklu villages in Mudanya district of Bursa.

In addition to the volunteer members of Aktas Education Foundation, Aktas Education Foundation Board Chairman Ilknur Ates and Aktas Holding Chief Executive Officer and Board Member Sami Erol participated in the organization of seedling plantation in the area where Sehit Yarbay Ilker Celikcan Memorial Forest locates in Goynuklu.

While many Pinus Brutia seedlings were brought together with the soil in the scope of the organization of seedling plantation by cooperation of Aktas Education Foundation and Bursa Department of Forestry, Aktas Education Foundation Board Chairman Ilknur Aktas acknowledged all volunteer persons participated in the organization.
