The Aktaş Education Foundation (AKEV) established in the organization of the Aktaş Holding, leader in Turkey and among the first three companies in the world in the air suspension bellows industry, for performing the sustainable corporate social responsibility projects, adding value to the society and in harmony with the nature, continues working without slowing down.

AKEV participated in a very important event in the name of the foundation by supporting the meaningful event which was performed for the first time in this year by the women assembly of the city council of Orhaneli because of the March 8^th, International Women’s Day and which created a great interest in the region.

While more than 200 women from Orhaneli participated in the event for celebrating the international women’s day, performed in the wedding hall of the Orhaneli Municipality, İlknur Aktaş, chairman of the board of directors of Aktaş Education Foundation, participated in personally to the night.

Belgin Erdoğan, lawyer of Aktaş Holding, included in the event as a speaker, made important sharing on the women’s rights to the participants.

Erdoğan, sharing detailed information on the legal issues related with women in the economic and social life, especially the civil code, recorded that women have important rights with the new regulations and these rights must be used
